An international development consultancy wishes to recruit an experienced and dynamic project manager to assist in the work of its donor-funded project, the Negotiations Support Unit, in Ramallah. The NSU's mandate is to provide expert legal, policy and communications advice to the Negotiations Affairs Department and related Palestinian institutions on a range of issues related to permanent status negotiations and the development of a Palestinian state.
Applicants must have a minimum of eight years experience managing large politically sensitive development projects funded by international donors, a masters degree in a relevant academic discipline, significant experience working in the Middle East and of managing teams of advisers, and fluency in written and spoken English. Fluency in Arabic will be seen as a significant asset.
Contract will be for one year with intent to extend depending on performance.
