Submit your paper/proposal in one of two ways:


ALTERNATIVE  #1 - Submit By Mail

Here's a checklist for what your mailed paper or proposal should include:

_____ ONE (1) completed copy of this Submission Cover Sheet
_____ FOUR (4) printed copies of the submission*
_____ TWO (2) separate copies of the 200 word abstract (include title and authors' names)
_____ Electronic Abstract sent by email or included on diskette (see below)

*For a symposium, debate, roundtable, workshop or exhibit proposal, include a separate title page with names and affiliations. Give a detailed description of each presentation. Abstract should be a 200-word synopsis of the central theme and purpose of the proposal, and a brief description of the method you will use to conduct the session (e.g., discussion, debate format, audience involvement, question-and-answer).

Electronic Abstract: For mailed submissions, you must provide an electronic abstract that gives the title of the submission, names and affiliations of all contributors, and a 200-word abstract. Provide this information in one of the following two ways (check below your choice):

_____ Preferred: I am sending it via electronic mail, with the information contained as text within the email message or as an attached document in Microsoft Word or WordPerfect format. (If you are sending an attached file, please name the file "abstract.name.doc" [Word] or "abstract.name.wpd" [WordPerfect], substituting your last name for name. Send by email to: IACM99@owen.vanderbilt.edu.)

_____ Acceptable: I am enclosing a computer diskette (3.5" DOS/Windows compatible) with my mailed submission. (The format of the file should be either Microsoft Word, WordPerfect, or ASCII test. Name the file "abstract.name.doc" [Word], "abstract.name.wpd" [WordPerfect], or "abstract.name.txt" [ASCII] substituting your last name for name. Put submitter's name on the diskette label.)

Electronic submissions are acceptable in lieu of mailed submissions if all of the following conditions are met:

If you submit electronically, be sure you convey relevant information from this form, including type of submission, whether this is a graduate student paper, and time requirements (if a symposium, roundtable, workshop, exhibit)
