SHUTTLE SERVICE FROM AIRPORTS

The Local Arrangements Chair can organize shuttle service from Bilbao and Biarritz airports.  (If you fly into San Sebastián, regular taxis and buses and easy and inexpensive, so shuttles are not necessary.)

Shuttle service can be arranged in one of two ways:

Option 1:  Put together a group of 5 or more people arriving around the same time

A shuttle can be arranged if a group of 5 persons (minimum) jointly request this service.  If you would like this service, someone from the group should send an e-mail message to the Local Arrangements Chair  before June 10 indicating the day of arrival, the flight number and the names of the persons belonging to the group.

Option 2:  Tell the Local Arrangements Chair when you are arriving

Another way to organize the transportation could be that everyone willing to use the shuttle service informs the Local Arrangements Chair in advance by e-mail about arrival day, time and flight number, before June 10. We will organize the groups and confirm by e-mail the shuttle service in two or three days.

FOR EITHER OPTION:  Communicate with the Local Arrangements Chair, Sabino Ayestaran, via email at this address: pspayets@ss.ehu.es

TOTAL PRICES FOR A TAXI  OR FOR THE SHUTTLE SERVICE:

FROM BILBAOTO SAN SEBASTIÁN FROM BIARRITZ TO SAN SEBASTIÁN
1-4 persons (taxi)  17,000 Pesetas 11,000 Pesetas
5 to 8 persons (shuttle)  19,000 Pesetas 13,000 Pesetas
9 to 12 persons (shuttle) 30,000 Pesetas 21,000 Pesetas

Figures in the table above are total prices.  Individual price is the total divided by number of people.  Thus, the price paid by each user of the service depends on the size of the group.  Shuttle service will be paid by users of the service at the time of the shuttle.

The first line in the table -- for 1-4 persons -- is the cost of a regular taxi, not a shuttle.  It is included for informational purposes.  The Local Arrangements Chair can organize shuttles only for groups of at least 5 individuals.
