Registration and Elective Events

Registration

Conference registration is available at our Online Conference Registration site. When using this site remember that:

  1. On Sunday the tour and bath are scheduled at the same time, so be aware of this when selecting choices;
  2. You must register for the shopping cart site as a way of tracking payment.  So, make sure you register when prompted to do so.  Only the conference organizers will see that information;
  3. You don’t have to open a PayPal account to register for the conference, and you don’t have to use an existing Pay Pal account that you might currently have.  Pay Pal will notify you that your transaction has been completed successfully;
  4. When you’ve completed the payment process on PayPal, use the ‘Return to INTL ASSOC. FOR CONFLICT MGMT’ link to have the system update your order status to ‘paid’;
  5. There is a time limit on the use of this site, so register as soon as you get this email;
  6. We will send out a follow-up email requesting meal and t-shirt size preferences.  That will be a separate email in a few weeks.

It is more cost-effective to join IACM and pay the member conference fee than it is to pay the non-member conference fee!  If you haven’t renewed your membership for 2007 yet, you can do so online at https://web.tepper.cmu.edu/iacm/

Hotel Registration is available by completing this form: registration form While this may not seem to be the easiest way to make reservations, the use of this form is the only way the hotel reservations department can provide the preferential rate that they are giving us. Please understand that Le Meridien will only accept reservations with the form completely filled out and signed. They will accept the form via email (if you have an electronic signature) or fax, both of which are included on the form itself (attached to this email).

Interested in sharing a room?  Email our president-elect, Bill Donohue at donohue@msu.edu, who is pairing people together.

 Want to preview the hotel? Go to http://www.starwoodhotels.com/lemeridien/property/overview/index.html?propertyID=1861.

Elective Events

Sunday, July 1, 2007
Morning Option: Brunch at Gundel 10:00am-12:00pm

Includes an elegant Sunday champagne buffet brunch in the gilded ballroom of Hungary’s #1 rated restaurant (although the dress is very casual in keeping with our less sophisticated afternoon options).  Like Her Majesty, Elizabeth II who said “I can hardly recall such an imaginative menu as the one we have just enjoyed at Gundel,” Robin is staking her reputation on this option.

Sunday, July 1, 2007
Afternoon Option A: Tour Of Budapest 1:00pm – 5:00pm

Includes transportation via bus and tour of the Parliament Building and Castle Hill.

Afternoon Option B: Szechenyi Baths 12:30pm – 5:00 pm

Includes transportation, guide and a locker at the Szechenyi baths for use all afternoon. Massage and spa treatments can be arranged at the site for additional cost.

Monday, July 2, 2007
